Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Certification in HR a plus
- 2+ years experience in Human Resources, preferably at a Fortune 500 company and retail environment
- Experience supporting Canadian market / teams
- High volume administration experience in HR, recruitment, or payroll
- Knowledge of basic employment law and HR / Payroll practices
- Experience working with ADP, SharePoint, Outlook, Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to collaborate with others
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong work ethic
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Desire to work in an office environment
Responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for HQ & Retail employees
- Deal with day-to-day queries and direct them to the appropriate person or team
- Handle people-related administration and coordination tasks
- Provide reporting and data for business partners
- Support HR and management on people-related topics and projects
- Assist with onboarding, employee changes, offboarding, payroll, and reporting
- Assist with HR projects as needed
- Keep up-to-date with labor laws
- Respond to queries from employees, managers, and business partners
- Assist HR Managers with Employee Relations and investigations
