Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required, CPA preferred
  • 3-5+ years of experience in accounting
  • Extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Highly detailed-oriented and obsessively organized
  • Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize the myriad of tasks, and consistently meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

  • Familiarity with accounting software and programs
Responsibilities
  • Reconcile and record all of Rover’s revenue
  • Prepare and record month-end journal entries and accruals
  • Perform account reconciliations in a timely manner and resolve variances each month
  • Assist in performing monthly variance analysis
  • Research and review transactions and provide necessary complex analyses
  • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
  • Review current processes and provide recommendations to management for improvement that will accommodate future growth
  • Assist with financial statement and tax audits
  • Assist in documenting and maintaining internal controls
