Requirements
  • Five to seven or more years of engineering experience at Tech Lead, Staff, or Principal level, with a track record of owning a technical domain end to end at a company between 100 and 2,000 people.
  • The last six to twelve months spent heavily on artificial intelligence, including building agents and shipping AI-built systems to production with concrete proof of impact rather than demos.
  • Genuine fluency with large language model application programming interfaces, agent frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, and Model Context Protocol integrations, as an active practitioner.
  • Deep engineering judgment, including the ability to validate artificial-intelligence-generated code, reason about security and architecture, and work comfortably in any programming language rather than being tied to one tool or platform.
  • AI Fluency Level 4 or equivalent hands-on experience shipping AI-powered systems into production.
Responsibilities
  • Meet with go-to-market teams to understand their processes firsthand, then design and ship automation that removes real manual work.
  • Own delivery end to end by scoping, building, and validating shipped work without a product manager or handoff.
  • Travel to local offices when deeper embedding is needed, build alongside the team for a few days, and train them on what was shipped.
  • Architect systems that integrate with Salesforce, HubSpot, Nue, Databricks, and Gong, with security and reliability built in from the start.
  • Work as the connective layer between engineering rigor and commercial reality by translating go-to-market problems into production-grade AI systems.
  • Design and ship AI-powered systems that go-to-market teams depend on for real commercial outcomes rather than internal prototypes.
  • Make engineering decisions about model choice, agent design, and retrieval-augmented generation pipelines as production-system decisions, and take full ownership of what happens when the systems are live.
Desired Qualifications
  • Some Salesforce or customer relationship management engineering experience beyond administration or low-code configuration.
  • Familiarity with the go-to-market stack, including HubSpot, Nue, Databricks, Gong, and Clay.
  • Comfort working directly with revenue operations or sales operations stakeholders without needing a translator.

Mews launches AI-native operating system unifying hotel software into single platform

Mews, a hospitality software company, has launched five new products that converge into what it calls the first AI-native operating system for hotels. The launches include revenue management, distribution, guest messaging, automations and accounts receivable capabilities. Founded 14 years ago, Mews aims to replace the eight to ten separate software systems typically used by hotels with a unified platform. New features include dynamic pricing running 150 million calculations daily, a channel manager connecting to 400-plus online travel agencies, and automated guest messaging across multiple platforms. According to independent research from IDC, hotels using the Mews Operating System achieve 8.7% revenue growth and €350,000 in annual benefit per 100 rooms, with a 476% three-year return on investment. The company currently serves 15,000 customers across 85 countries.

Mews partners with Uber to embed ride booking into hotel operating systems

Mews, a hospitality operating system, has partnered with Uber to integrate ride booking directly into hotel property management systems. The collaboration allows hotels to request, track and bill Uber rides from within the Mews platform, transforming what has traditionally been a manual front desk task. The integration addresses a significant revenue opportunity: Mews research found guests spend an average of $50 per stay on transportation arranged independently of hotels. The system will enable staff-initiated and guest-initiated bookings, live vehicle tracking, automatic billing to guest folios through Mews Payments, and transportation pattern insights. The partnership was announced at Mews Unfold in Amsterdam, where Christophe Peymirat from Uber for Business EMEA and Mike Coscetta, President of Mews, discussed the collaboration. A pilot programme launches this year across Mews's 15,000 customers in 85 countries.

Mews launches Business Intelligence with AI insights for hotels, driving 20% occupancy gains

Mews, a hospitality operating system, has launched Mews Business Intelligence, a native data and analytics product delivering AI-powered insights for hoteliers. Built directly into the Mews platform, the tool provides real-time business data access, customisable dashboards and automated reporting without requiring manual exports. The system combines Mews data with external sources like online travel agencies and Google Ads to provide unified performance views. Over 1,000 early adopters are already using the platform. The Adara Hotel in Whistler reported a 20% increase in two-bedroom suite occupancy and an 11% total revenue uplift during spring after implementing the tool. Mews BI is now available to all customers with Mews Analytics or Enterprise packages at no additional cost, with hostel support planned for later in 2026.

Mews raises $300M at $2.5B valuation to build AI agents for autonomous hotel operations

Mews, an Amsterdam-based hotel technology company, has raised $300 million to develop AI agents capable of autonomously managing hotel operations. The round values the company at $2.5 billion, roughly double its $1.2 billion valuation from March 2024. The funding will support development of agentic AI software that coordinates pricing, staffing and guest services across hotel systems without manual intervention. The approach requires hotels to transition from legacy systems that cannot support such automation levels. Mews' vision depends on hotels shifting operational decision-making to algorithms, though the company has yet to demonstrate this capability at scale. The technology aims to create an operating system that fundamentally changes hotel management processes.
