Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as energy, environmental science, policy, or engineering.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in energy, policy, or technical consulting.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and subject matter expertise in energy and policy domains.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and meet project milestones.
  • Ability to maintain attention to detail.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Must not require H-1B or TN visa sponsorship.
  • Must be cleared for the applicable security requirement or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret or Top Secret facility clearance, including DOE Q where applicable.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office business tools, including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytics tools, and Visio.
Responsibilities
  • Ensure quality and accuracy in evaluation processes and reporting of findings.
  • Ensure evaluation processes and outcomes meet established quality standards and best practices.
  • Conduct public comment review, data analysis, modeling, evaluation, mapping, forecasting, and report development.
  • Use data tracking tools and support workforce policy analysis and convening.
  • Provide energy market, economic, and regulatory analysis technical consulting services to the Department of Energy Office of Policy.
  • Develop analyses and support initiatives while ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Assess the impact, feasibility, and outcomes of energy programs and policies using qualitative and quantitative methods.
  • Contribute to the documentation and dissemination of energy solutions.
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment with Department of Energy objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in high-level Department of Energy strategy discussions.
  • Ensure quality control and process compliance across projects.
