Requirements
  • 3-5 years of customer support experience, preferably with a hardware-based product.
  • Background in computer networking, preferred.
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred.
  • Experience with Windows based system required.
  • Experience with Windows Services and Logs is a plus.
  • Experience with security products is a plus.
  • Experience creating sales drawings, typically simple layouts, and device placements.
  • A desire to learn about our product and help our customers.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills working over the phone/internet to resolve issues.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Organized and motivated self-starter; works well independently with minimal direction.
  • Travel to customer sites: Approximately 5-to-10% or periodic as required.
Responsibilities
  • Answer technical questions related to the SDS Gunshot Detection product including integration with other security products.
  • Support partners/customers with configuration help and issue resolution by remotely accessing their systems and resolving problems in real-time.
  • Communicate with the engineering team to discuss partner/customer needs and issues.
  • Work with Sales Team and Partners during the customer sale process, perform initial system designs, and manage partner/customer inquiries related to installation and deployment.
  • Perform site walks of customer facilities and support the company's installation partner network through the setup and configuration process.
  • Other duties as assigned.
