  • 8+ years of experience in data architecture, solution architecture, or analytics platform architecture roles.
  • Hands-on experience with the Celonis platform, including data integration, PQL (Process Query Language), object-centric data modeling, and Studio asset development.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, including executive stakeholders.
  • High level of independence, sound judgment, and ability to operate effectively in ambiguous, greenfield environments.
Responsibilities
  • Define and maintain the enterprise event log architecture, object-centric data models (OCDM), Perspectives, and Knowledge Model that enable process mining, conformance analysis, variant detection, and KPI measurement across enterprise processes. Own the technical design decisions that determine how business objects, events, and relationships are modeled within the platform (25%).
  • Own the end-to-end data integration strategy from source ERP systems (Oracle JDE) into the Celonis platform, including connector configuration, extraction method selection (JDBC, REST, batch vs. real-time), transformation scripts (PQL), data integration scheduling, and pipeline orchestration. • Serve as the primary technical counterpart to the Celonis SI team during the implementation engagement (May–September 2026). Lead knowledge transfer activities across all SOW phases(Connect, Data Ready, Analyze, Execute, Handover) and ensure internal capability is built to sustain, operate, and evolve the platform independently post-engagement. Shadow SI consultants during OCDM configuration, Studio asset development, and Action Flow design (15%).
  • Establish and govern the data quality framework — including validation rules, reconciliation procedures, data scorecards, and root‑cause resolution workflows — to ensure mining outputs are accurate, consistent, and audit-ready. Define acceptance criteria for event logs and analytical assets before publication to business stakeholders (10%).
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the Process Intelligence Data Engineer (P3), Senior Analyst, Process Excellence (P3), and broader Pune BPM execution team. Define technical standards, conduct architecture reviews, establish reusable templates and patterns, and ensure alignment with Edwards enterprise IT governance and security requirements (10%).
  • Evaluate and recommend adoption paths for emerging Celonis capabilities (e.g., Process Sphere, Action Flows, Agent C, AI-driven insights) aligned to Edwards’ process intelligence roadmap. Configure and validate execution solutions including Action Flows and Business Apps for prioritized value opportunities (5%).
Desired Qualifications
  • Celonis certification(s) such as Celonis Data Engineer, Celonis Analyst, or Celonis Solution Architect.
  • Experience with Celonis Process Management (CPM/Symbio), including Process Designer and Navigator.
  • Experience implementing Celonis from greenfield (not just operating an existing deployment).
  • Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS) and modern data stack tooling.
  • Python or other scripting language proficiency for data automation, validation, and pipeline orchestration.
  • Experience operating in regulated industries (e.g., medical device, pharmaceuticals) requiring data integrity, audit readiness, and SOX compliance.
  • Familiarity with BPMN 2.0 process modeling standards and process excellence methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Experience with Action Flows, Business Apps, or similar execution/automation solutions within process mining platforms.

Edwards Lifesciences wins FDA approval for AUTUS, first surgical pulmonary valve for pediatric patients

Edwards Lifesciences has received FDA approval for the AUTUS Size-Adjustable Valve, the first surgical pulmonary valve designed specifically for paediatric patients with congenital heart disease. The valve can be expanded as a child grows through a minimally invasive transcatheter procedure, potentially reducing the need for repeat open-heart surgeries. The approval was based on a pivotal study that met its primary safety and effectiveness endpoints. All patients were free from device-related complications through 30 days, with no valve reinterventions through six months. Patients who completed one-year follow-up showed consistent outcomes with favourable valve performance. The AUTUS valve previously received FDA Breakthrough Device designation for addressing an important unmet need in paediatric cardiac care.

Antitrust: KKR agrees to record settlement of HSR non-compliance claims.

Antitrust: KKR agrees to record settlement of HSR non-compliance claims. August 31, 2026 Last year, DealLawyers blogged about the DOJ's decision to file a lawsuit against KKR, in which it alleged that the buyout giant engaged in multiple failures to comply with the HSR Act's pre-merger notification requirements. Last week, the parties filed a proposed settlement of that lawsuit with the SDNY. This excerpt from a White & Case memo summarizes the terms of the settlement: On Wednesday, August 26, 2026, the DOJ filed a proposed settlement requiring KKR & Co. Inc. to pay a civil penalty of $250 million, more than 20 times any prior HSR penalty obtained by the DOJ. Associate Attorney General Stanley Woodward indicated that this proposed settlement "sends a powerful message" and shows that the DOJ "is committed to vigorous enforcement of the Act." This settlement comes after the DOJ alleged in January 2025 that the private equity sponsor "repeatedly violated the HSR Act" through "systemic" violations. Key allegations in the DOJ's complaint included: - Failure to submit responsive business documents required under Item 4 of the HSR Form - Altering or removing content and pages in final Item 4 documents before submission to the FTC/DOJ as part of required HSR filings - Failure to make HSR filings before consummating reportable transactions The memo quotes a KKR spokesperson as saying that the organization determined that continuing the litigation would be a distraction to the organization & that KKR was pleased to put the litigation behind it. They also noted that their investors wouldn't feel the bite, because KKR "will be fully reimbursed by outside law firms." Yikes!!! The settlement comes on the heels of last month's settlement of the FTC's actions targeting Edwards Lifesciences & Genesis Medtech's for alleged violations of the HSR Act. At the time, the $12 million fine that the companies agreed to pay was the largest ever for failing to make an HSR filing. I guess records were made to be broken. - John Jenkins
