Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, paralegal degree, or paralegal certificate.
  • 3 years’ experience working in a contracts administration, contract negotiation, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles, including data privacy and security.
  • Experience with reviewing and negotiating inbound software vendor agreements is required.
  • Familiarity with hardware component manufacturing and event planning/hotel agreements is preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with an aptitude to thrive in a fast paced environment.
  • Outstanding critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to leverage technology to streamline processes.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough contract review of inbound vendor agreements.
  • Review and analyze information related to the scope and risks under the contract; use existing Trimble agreements where possible, create new agreements/addenda as needed, make redlines and comments based on sound logic and rationale with reference to available playbooks and guidance, escalating as needed within the Software Governance/legal teams; advance contract toward resolution by communicating frequently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contractual terms and conditions with reference to company requirements and risk tolerance while maintaining professionalism and a customer service-based approach.
  • Proactively identify areas to increase scalability and efficiency in the vendor contracting process, proposing and implementing new policies and procedures as needed.
  • Special projects as assigned.
