- Assume all responsibilities and duties of the Director of Nursing in that person's absence.
- Oversee nursing operations, including staffing, training, and quality assurance.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of nurses and healthcare professionals.
- Support the development and implementation of care plans and protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize resident care.
- Serve as the operational liaison between the nursing units and the Director of Nursing.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional care to residents.
- Participate in quality assurance monitoring and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in nursing care.
- An advanced degree or certification is preferred.
- Experience in a nursing leadership role in a long-term care or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
