  • Approval to practice by the State Joint Board on the Regulation of Physician's Assistants.
  • National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants certification is required.
  • Proficiency in computer applications and database management.
  • Sufficient experience, confidence, and judgment to function with little outside direction.
  • Ability to maintain continuing medical education currency as required to maintain National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants certification.
  • A personal Drug Enforcement Administration license is required.
  • Exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.

  • Provide individualized, evidence-based care in the outpatient Wound and Ostomy Clinic.
  • Manage acute and chronic wounds.
  • Provide comprehensive pre-operative and post-operative ostomy care.
  • Provide patient education.
