- Undergraduate degree
- Strong oral, written and computer skills; knowledge of Excel preferred
- Tessitura knowledge helpful
- Knowledge of opera helpful
- Strong interest in a career in fundraising, government engagement or arts administration
Responsibilities
- Preparation of select foundation, government, and special project proposals
- Managing scheduling for meetings for Chief Diversity Officer & Assistant General Manager
- Managing recurring meetings with lobbyist
- Work with key contacts in each of the offices working on review of government grants and special funding through elected offices and government agencies
- Assist in preparation of grant reports and supplemental materials
- Oversee database records and drafts various types of correspondence
- Maintain expense tracking documents
- Provide support to other members of the Institutional Relations team
- Provide administrative support to the Chief Diversity Officer
- Coordinate the collection and preparation of supplemental materials and required attachments for institutional funders
- Conduct prospect research for general operating support and program-specific funding
- Complete all government, and special project income booking with Finance Department
- Manage contribution tracking and acknowledgements
- Update the Met’s official Credit Book
- Responsible for first review of all internal marketing pieces circulated for approval
- Manage fulfillment of government, and special project funder benefits
- Manage Department’s ‘Standard Operating Procedures’ documents
- Utilize Tessitura to create complex invitation lists for special programs for government funders
- Assist with coordinating cultivation activities and events
- Manage expense tracking and updating database records
- Support Manager DEI and assist in overseeing interns working with DEI
