Requirements
  • Five to seven years of experience in analytics, measurement, or insights roles with a strong focus on talent, creator, or influencer marketing, ideally in a sports or entertainment environment.
  • A demonstrated track record in client-facing analytics work, including building pitch materials, presenting performance narratives, and advising on measurement strategy for talent or creator clients.
  • Proven experience designing measurement frameworks and benchmarking systems from scratch.
  • Experience working alongside data engineering or technology teams to translate analytical needs into system requirements without directly owning the technical build.
  • Deep fluency with creator and influencer analytics platforms, including tools for creator discovery and analytics, organic and paid content performance, social listening, audience insights, and related use cases.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the capability to leverage advanced artificial intelligence tools to accelerate and elevate work.
  • Working knowledge of native analytics for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and emerging social platforms.
  • Familiarity with data pipeline concepts, application programming interface-based data sourcing, and platform data infrastructure sufficient to inform analytical design and communicate requirements to technical partners.
  • Experience with social listening, sentiment analysis, earned media value frameworks, and audience quality assessment methodologies.
  • Ability to aggregate data across multiple vendor sources.
  • Ability to translate complex, multi-source data into clear, visually compelling narratives tailored to creative and business audiences.
  • Proven experience building pitch materials and performance decks that drive decisions.
  • Ability to present to C-suite and senior client audiences.
  • Genuine understanding of the creator economy, including audience growth, engagement drivers, brand partnership valuation, and meaningful brand metrics.
  • Awareness of the evolving platform landscape and its implications for measurement, including the shift from vanity metrics toward business outcome attribution.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary analytics partner for Talent Sales and Marketing, collaborating with Analytics and Talent Sales colleagues to define and evolve standard and customized analytics services.
  • Embed into pitch development, client commercial strategy initiatives, and client renewal conversations to provide data-driven narratives and measurement insights demonstrating client value and marketability.
  • Surface trends, benchmarks, and audience insights that help talent teams identify new business opportunities, position clients competitively, and articulate unique value in the marketplace.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations to evolve and manage the intake and prioritization process for new deliverables.
  • Partner with Analytics and Talent Sales and Marketing colleagues to define measurement approaches for endorsement deals, tactical paid media campaigns, and emerging formats.
  • Design and own measurement frameworks for evaluating talent performance across the agency, including key performance indicator architecture, benchmark development, data standardization, and methodology documentation.
  • Develop and maintain standardized, scalable analytics solutions that provide account and talent teams with consistent, reliable client insights for audience profiling, brand fit analysis, and commercial opportunity landscapes.
  • Build documented, repeatable, and defensible methodologies for sentiment analysis, brand conversation tracking, earned media valuation, and audience quality assessment.
  • Lead the evaluation and selection of third-party analytics vendors and platforms, including CreatorIQ, Brandwatch, ListenFirst, and audience insights solutions.
  • Serve as the internal owner and day-to-day expert for the agency's talent and creator analytics tool stack.
  • Work with Analytics team partners to communicate analytical requirements, inform what data is captured and surfaced, and ensure infrastructure decisions reflect measurement-function needs.
  • Stay current on talent and creator analytics developments, platform data capabilities, and measurement industry standards, identifying opportunities to close gaps and strengthen analytical capabilities.
  • Develop and nurture relationships with stakeholders across talent sales, talent marketing, client management, brand marketing, and Analytics.
  • Collaborate with Talent and Analytics stakeholders to align analytical priorities with business needs and client commitments.
  • Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on talent, creator, and influencer measurement, educating agency partners on best practices, platform key performance indicators, and evolving industry standards.

Cadillac Formula 1 Team has chosen Excel Sports Management as its Agency of Record responsible for leading commercial sales strategy and partnership development globally. Cadillac Formula 1 Team has already established a platform across partnerships, performance, brand and fan engagement, according to the agency. This next phase marks a critical step in expanding its commercial platform, with Excel tasked to amplify revenue growth through an integrated approach to partnerships. The team has been working for almost a year with agencies to find sponsors, industry executives told Sports Business Journal, with Excel Sports Management, Wasserman and Right Formula among those that have been mentioned. Cadillac Formula 1 Team announced a multi-year partnership with Tommy Hilfiger last June as the team's official apparel partner and lifestyle sponsor. Jim Beam recently kicked off a partnership with the Cadillac Formula 1 team which includes branding on the car and in-person activations, marking Jim Beam's first major move into Formula 1. Cadillac Formula 1 Team and Excel will focus on evolving and scaling a best-in-class commercial ecosystem, creating distinctive, high-impact opportunities for brands. Central to this vision is Cadillac F1 Team's position as the only American team that is uniquely equipped to deliver innovative partnerships in the world's fastest growing sport. Formula 1 has continued to evolve into one of the leading sports and cultural platforms globally, says Jason Miller, executive vice president, commercial revenue and head of properties, Excel Sports Management. Excel Sports expands properties division with Paiser hire, Mankus elevation. Danny Paiser will serve as the new vice president and managing director for international properties, based in London, UK. Excel Sports Management, the prominent sports and commercial agency, has announced the appointment of Danny Paiser as its new vice president and managing director for international properties. In his new role, Paiser will oversee the sale of commercial raghts internationally for partnered sports properties, and will continue to aid the expanded internationalization of the business' global client base. Paiser has recently served as a strategic advisor for the Ingage Games fan engagement focused tech company, and the Al-Hilal Saudi Arabian soccer side, where he had been international commercial lead. Prior to that, he had been senior vice president for commercial at agency KIN partners, where he served between July 2020 and March 2024. He also had a long spell at soccer multi-club ownership group City Football Group between 2013 and 2019, where he held a number of roles including regional manager for Latin America and Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA), head of regional partnerships, vice president and head of partnership sales, director of tours, and vice president for partnerships EMEA. Excel's portfolio of clients includes sides from across the major US leagues NBA and WNBA (both basketball), MLS (soccer), NHL (Ice hockey), MLB (baseball), NFL (American football), and college sports' NCAA, as well as English soccer's Premier League, and global motor racing's Formula 1.

According to recent Financial Times reporting, Goldman Sachs is nearing a deal to buy a majority stake in Excel at a valuation approaching $1 billion. The agency was founded by sports agent Jeff Schwartz, who left IMG in 2002, and was later joined by former IMG executives Casey Close and Mark Steinberg. The agency has offices in New York, Miami, Los Angeles, Dallas, Chicago, Charlotte, Geneva, and London, and is a three-time winner of Sports Business Journal's "Best In Talent Representation and Management" award.
