Responsibilities

Act as the finance business partner to the Sales and Marketing functions of the Africa & Trading business unit, supporting execution of the commercial strategy in line with company targets and financial requirements.
Provide visibility into financial performance for each commercial unit, including top line and contribution margin, as well as category and customer cost-to-serve.
Set and evaluate pricing and promotion initiatives, and assess their impact on volume through elasticity and on market share.
Manage and control the deals and allowances profit-and-loss line in coordination with the Financial Controller, ensuring completeness of deals-and-allowances and distributor-cost accruals, and oversee the overall financial health of business relationships.
Support Sales and Marketing in preparing analysis and materials for key routines, including monthly performance reviews and the annual operating plan, and monitor the performance of sales channels and distributors.
Calculate sales team commissions based on set targets, factoring in supply drops and overall mix profitability.
Drive ownership and continuous improvement for the function.
Own value-chain maintenance and understanding.
Own new product development pricing and promotion strategy and value chains, along with marketing initiatives and campaigns, and conduct post-evaluations to capture learning.
Ensure compliance with accounting and internal-control rules and manage internal audits.

Job Description

The Kraft Heinz Company is looking for Commercial finance and RGM manager who will have the overall responsibility for the commercial financial planning and management. This role provides insightful and value adding analysis and recommendations to the Commercial Leadership team.

Key Responsibilities

Act as Finance Business partner to the Sales and Marketing functions of the Africa & Trading business unit, supporting the execution of the commercial strategy in line with the company targets and financial requirements
Provide visibility on financial performance of each commercial unit (top line and contribution margin), category and customer (cost-to-serve)
Set and evaluate pricing and promotion initiatives and assess the impact on volume (elasticity) and the market share
Management and control of deals & allowances P&L line (in coordination with the Financial Controller to ensure completeness of all D&A and distributors’ costs accruals) as well as overall financial health of the business relationship
Support Sales & Marketing in the preparation of analysis and materials for key routines: monthly performance review, annual operating plan, etc., including monitoring the Performance of sales channels / Distributor

Driving a mindset of ownership and continuous improvement for the function

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance.
7-9 years in Accounting and Finance preferably in FMCGs
