Requirements
  • 6-10 years of experience.
  • Experience with FDB or Medi-Span.
  • Experience with Omnicell or Pyxis.
  • Pharmacy or clinical background.
  • Familiarity with medication loading and Willow inpatient charging, including updates for HCPCS, medication costs, and regulatory modifiers.
  • Strong technical and interpersonal skills.
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Application-specific certification or proficiency within 90 days of hire, if applicable.
Responsibilities
  • Provide complex qualitative and quantitative analysis on data and information collected during application requirement gathering.
  • Gather requirements, perform fit-gap analysis, and create technical solutions for business needs.
  • Design, validate, and confirm new or changed functionality within the supported application environment to meet customer specifications.
  • Implement and manage small- to medium-level projects.
  • Troubleshoot, research, and solve technically challenging problems involving integrated systems.
  • Assist with administrative, technical, and customer-facing duties related to implementing system updates and changes.
  • Maintain all documentation.
  • Work with business users and the application team to design, build, and execute integration and user acceptance test plans and scripts.
  • Create and maintain test scripts for new installations, projects, and system updates.
  • Serve as the application subject matter expert when assigned to project teams.
  • Serve as a liaison between end users, subject matter experts, and technical support.
  • Provide 24/7 on-call support.
  • Monitor queues, event logs, and brokers and perform maintenance as required.
  • Monitor interfaces with external systems.
  • Create ad hoc reports according to user specifications.
  • Interact frequently with IT staff and end users, including health system staff, management, and physicians.
Desired Qualifications
  • Decision Support experience.
  • A Bachelor's Degree.
  • Epic Willow Certification.
  • Certified Pharmacy Technician certification, which is preferred but not required.
  • Healthcare experience in a hospital, medical practice, or health system.
