FlyUSA launches $100 Million Jet Card Recovery Program for private flyers with stranded funds.

FlyUSA launches $100 Million Jet Card Recovery Program for private flyers with stranded funds. Sep 16, 2026, 15:38 ET Qualifying customers receive a complimentary FlyUSA Gold Membership valued at $4,995, pay as they go with no deposit required, and earn a 20% promotional flight rebate until they recover up to 100% of their verified stranded balance TAMPA, Fla., Sept. 16, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - FlyUSA, a U.S.-based private jet charter and aviation solutions provider, has launched a $100 Million Jet Card Recovery Program for private flyers who have lost access to prepaid funds held by other private aviation providers. The program makes up to $100 million in promotional flight credits available to qualifying customers without requiring them to make another prepaid deposit. Participants receive a complimentary FlyUSA Gold Membership, valued at $4,995, and pay for flights as they book them. They also receive 20% of qualifying FlyUSA flight spend in promotional flight credits until they earn credits worth up to 100% of their verified qualifying stranded balance, subject to program terms and limits. "Someone who has already had a significant amount of money stranded with a private aviation provider shouldn't have to make another six-figure deposit just to start flying again," said Barry Shevlin, CEO of FlyUSA. "We're not asking them to trust another company with a large prepaid balance. They can pay as they go, and we'll earn their trust one flight at a time." A Path to Recover Up to 100% The FlyUSA Jet Card Recovery Program is designed around a simple concept: customers who have already lost access to prepaid funds should not have to make another large deposit to continue flying. For every $1 of qualifying flight spend with FlyUSA, an eligible participant receives $0.20 in FlyUSA flight credits toward recovering the verified stranded balance. A customer with a verified $100,000 stranded balance, for example, could earn up to $100,000 in flight credits after $500,000 of qualifying FlyUSA flight spend. The program comes as prepaid funds are again drawing attention in private aviation. On Sept. 15, Private Jet Card Comparisons reported that private jet broker ONEflight International was pausing flights for at least 30 days, potentially affecting customers with prepaid balances. "It frustrates me that this keeps happening in our business," Shevlin said. "In private aviation, we would never accept leaving a customer stranded when they have an important trip. We should approach their money with the same sense of responsibility. As an industry, we can, and we must, do better." Building Trust Without Another Large Deposit FlyUSA developed the program for private flyers who may be reluctant to prepay another provider after losing access to a significant balance. Rather than requiring another large deposit, qualifying customers pay for flights as they book them. Customers then receive a 20% rebate in FlyUSA flight credits on qualifying flight spend. For example: * $50,000 stranded balance: Up to $50,000 in FlyUSA flight credits * $100,000 stranded balance: Up to $100,000 in FlyUSA flight credits * $250,000 stranded balance: Up to $250,000 in FlyUSA flight credits * $500,000 stranded balance: Up to $500,000 in FlyUSA flight credits "You've already been asked to trust someone with your money once," Shevlin said. "We're not asking you to do it again. Keep your money until you need to fly." FlyUSA operates aircraft under its own Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Part 135 certificate and provides aircraft management, private jet charter, aircraft maintenance, and 24/7 operational support. The company also sources aircraft through a nationwide network when a customer's trip requires an aircraft outside its managed fleet. "We believe private flyers increasingly want to understand what is behind the company they're trusting with their travel," Shevlin said. "FlyUSA combines the customer experience of a private aviation company with the infrastructure of an aircraft operator." Available Nationwide The FlyUSA $100 Million Jet Card Recovery Program is available immediately to qualifying private flyers nationwide. Customers do not need to make a new jet card deposit to apply. FlyUSA will confidentially review documentation establishing a customer's unused or inaccessible balance with another private aviation provider and determine eligibility under the program, including availability of remaining funds under the maximum aggregate limit of $100 million. Customers interested in the program can visit flyusa.com/jetcard-balance-recovery/, or email [email protected].
