Voize provides an AI-powered voice assistant that automates clinical documentation for healthcare professionals. It runs on nurses’ smartphones as a mobile app using proprietary speech recognition trained for nursing terms and regional dialects, converting spoken notes into structured, compliant entries and syncing with electronic health records. It can operate offline, preserving privacy and reliability in low-connectivity environments, and includes features like a mobile care assistant, voice documentation, photo documentation for wounds, medication plans, and emergency support. It targets elderly/long-term care, home care, and hospital settings with a B2B SaaS per-user license, aiming to reduce administrative workload and caregiver burnout while expanding across Europe and the US.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Balderton’s December 2025 $50 million round funds Europe expansion and US entry.
  • By September 2026, voize claims 75,000 nurses across 1,100 facilities.
  • Caregiver shortages and paperwork pain keep hospital and long-term-care buyers actively shopping.

What critics are saying

  • Tandem Health, Abridge, and Nuance already own deeper EHR integrations in 2026.
  • US rollout in early 2026 exposes voize to HIPAA, FDA, and procurement delays.
  • Epic or Microsoft can absorb ambient documentation into native workflows by 2027.

What makes voize unique

  • voize’s offline nursing dictation keeps working without connectivity, unlike cloud-only scribes.
  • A CharitĂ©-led study in 2026 reported 27% documentation-time reduction for voize.
  • voize specializes narrowly in nursing documentation, not broad physician ambient scribing.
