Requirements
- 2-3 years of experience in production coordination or associate producing, preferably in video or digital content.
- Experience organizing and tracking many moving production items with a reliable system.
- Professional and confident communication with vendors, crew, and talent.
- Ability to identify problems early and prepare solutions in advance.
- Interest in eventually running productions and understanding of production logistics.
Responsibilities
- Book and confirm production logistics, including locations, crew, vendors, rentals, props, transportation, and accommodations.
- Own the production calendar and keep scheduling on track across every production phase.
- Track the production budget and handle vendor payments and expense reconciliation.
- Onboard crew and communicate call times, schedules, and shoot-day details.
- Coordinate equipment rentals and gear needs with the Lead Producer.
- Track open items and follow up to ensure production tasks are completed.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with production budgeting software or tools.
- An existing network of vendors, crew, or location contacts in Los Angeles.
