- Three years of experience with County and State standards for chart documentation.
- A Master's degree in psychology, social work, or marriage and family counseling, with registration or licensure required.

- Advanced knowledge and proficiency in computer programs in a Windows environment, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
- Proficiency in an Electronic Health Records System.
- Completion of New Hire Orientation, AB-1343 Sexual Harassment Prevention training, Mandated Reporter training, and Timekeeping and Attendance training.
- Ability to satisfy education verification, reference check, background fingerprint clearance by the California Department of Social Services, drug and alcohol screening, and tuberculosis screening contingencies.
- Analyze and evaluate charts, and summarize and share findings with appropriate supervisors, managers, and leadership.
- Act as the primary liaison with the Department of Mental Health's Standards and Records Department and internal managers for other funders regarding documentation issues.
- Identify clinical staff who need chart documentation training, develop training materials, and conduct training for managers, supervisors, and staff.
- Prepare for audits using the Electronic Health Record System and claiming system at an expert level, and collaborate with vice presidents, the Director of Compliance, Clinical Program Managers, supervisors, Health Information Management, the Custodian of Records, and leadership for audit purposes.
- Analyze and evaluate documentation for accuracy of clinical content and procedure billing codes for Department of Mental Health contracts.
- Develop and implement tracking forms and systems to audit chart documentation against federal and county regulations, and identify and recommend methods to streamline procedures and improve efficiency.
- Act as the primary liaison with Department of Mental Health Standards, the internal Director of Compliance, Health Information Management, the Custodian of Records Department, and other funders regarding documentation issues.
- Collaborate with vice presidents, clinical managers, and supervisors to prepare for audits by the Department of Mental Health, Department of Child and Family Services, and other funders.
- Serve as a leader in audits and maintain expert working knowledge of program standards and policies developed by the agency, licensing bodies, and other governing bodies.
- Develop personal and professional knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking current practices, and participating in in-service programs.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

OWC secured coverage on FOX 11 for Saban Community Clinic's new Temple Family Health Center, located in Los Angeles' Echo Park neighborhood. The new health center, located at 2121 W. Temple St. on the Children's Institute's Otis Booth Campus, is Saban Community Clinic's first healthcare location serving the Echo Park community and its seventh health center in Los Angeles. The co-location partnership with Children's Institute puts Saban's healthcare services within a campus that serves thousands of children and families each year through programs including early childhood education, adult and child therapy, parenting support and care coordination, offering a closer look at a unique approach that will expand access to a full spectrum of family services. Local human service nonprofits are seeing demand for services rise as state and federal budget cuts strain already limited resources. Through its partnership with Children's Institute, Saban is making it easier for families to get the care they need. At a time when its communities are feeling the impact of funding cuts and rising costs, partnerships like these help keep essential services within reach and trusted organizations there for the people who rely on them. The Temple Family Health Center will initially focus on care for children, with comprehensive family healthcare services coming soon.
