Requirements
  • Knowledge of configuration management and BOM structuring (preferably for hardware products)
  • Minimum 3+ years of NPI program management (or consumer electronics industry related) logistics, and overseas supplier/contract manufacturer management or BA/BS degree
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Off-hour support required via email, phone or WebEx as needed
  • Proven track record of excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage System, Cable and MLB BOMs
  • Create part numbers and structure complex BOMs (Bills of Materials)
  • Create, manage, and process Engineering Change Orders, Manufacturer Change Orders, and Deviations
  • Communicate BOM status within the development team while driving timely part released and correspond documentation
  • Support Allocation and Build Databases
  • Work on multiple projects concurrently
  • International travel required at times to support build activities
  • Oversee Apple security and safety product requirements
Desired Qualifications
  • Have an understanding of complex Bills of Materials and documentation experience
  • Experience with PLM tools, Agile experience is preferred but not required
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a large cross-functional team
  • Ability to react to re-sets and changes in a time sensitive and fast pace environment
  • Experience with facilitating and tracking program budgets
