Responsibilities
  • Greet customers, assist them in finding products, provide outstanding customer service, promote company products and services, and resolve customer issues.
  • Monitor the Enterprise Fulfillment systems application, pick merchandise orders, acknowledge completion in the system, and pack orders according to packaging requirements and timelines.
  • Complete Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store activities in a timely manner.
  • Research jcp.com order shortages and overages, complete shipment check-in, and perform order binning and system reporting.
  • Organize and maintain the jcp.com stock area and process jcp.com order delivery and return transactions on the register.
  • Partner with Merchandise Associates and Assistants to replenish the store and take personal action to replenish products from inventory.
  • Participate in the annual inventory process.
  • Meet established standards for shrink, safety, omnichannel operations, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

Lowe's names execs to oversee Pro services and AI. Reading Time: 4 mins read Lowe's Companies Inc. announced a slate of new executive appointments encompassing five roles that it said would support the company's "Total Home" strategy. The leadership titles, which became official on Sept. 1, according to a filing made with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, have implications for a range of operations at the Home Improvement retailer. Their capacities will extend across Lowe's Pro and home services, stores, technology - including artificial intelligence (AI) - and marketing. Lowe's ranks No. 9 in Digital Commerce 360's Top 1000 Database. The market research tool tracks North America's largest online retailers by their annual ecommerce sales. Lowe's is No. 90 in Digital Commerce 360's all-new AI Rankings. That set of rankings is available in the Top 1000 Pro with AI Database. Who are the new executives at Lowe's? Lowe's SEC filing dated Aug. 28 named five execs, all of whom were promoted internally to their new jobs. They included: * Joseph M. McFarland III, executive vice president for Pro and home services. * Quonta D. Vance, executive vice president for stores. * Seemantini Godbole, executive vice president and chief information and AI officer. * Adam D. Filipponi as executive vice president for strategy and business development. * Jennifer E. Wilson as executive vice president and chief marketing officer. Joseph M. He is also a veteran of the Gulf War and Desert Storm, with a service record in the U.S. Marines. Lowe's website lists McFarland's new priorities as being responsible for execution and strategy for Pro and home services, with "driving market share growth and delivering exceptional customer service" as his goals. AI's role at Lowe's. Meanwhile, Godbole, who has served as both chief information officer and chief digital and information officer since arriving at Lowe's in 2018, will add AI to her title, placing Lowe's AI efforts clearly under her control. She previously worked at Target and Travelocity Europe. Lowe's CEO Marvin Ellison noted when sharing Q2 results for Lowe's online sales that the retailer's online AI agent Mylow had achieved triple the conversion rate of Lowe's non-Mylow digital experience with online customers. "The improved user experience along with the compelling value offered by our loyalty programs are driving increased conversion and enabling to dynamic customer preferences," Ellison said in August. In its fiscal Q2, which ended July 31, Lowe's net sales grew by 8.3% year over year to reach $25.96 billion. Lowe's online sales in Q2 were up by 15.7%.

JCPenney, Good 360 partner on "Retail Regrets Trade-in" 2026-08-17 JCPenney has introduced the Retail Regrets Trade-in, a program in partnership with nonprofit Good 360 that will run from Aug. 28 to Aug. 30 and will give customers a $15 coupon toward a $50 purchase in exchange for donated clothing. JC penney to close in CoolSprings Galleria; DICK'S House of Sport to replace it. FRANKLIN, Tenn. - CoolSprings Galleria has announced the closure of its JCPenney store in Franklin. JCPenney is expected to close this fall following the expiration of its lease. A sign posted on the exterior of the building announces the permanent closure. CBL Properties, which manages CoolSprings Galleria as part of its national portfolio of properties, announced that JCPenney will be replaced by DICK'S House of Sport, which the company described as "one of the most sought-after dynamic experiential concepts to come to the greater Nashville market." DICK'S House of Sport is a more than 100,000-square-foot store that will offer an assortment of products along with in-store activities, including a climbing wall, multiple golf bays with TrackMan(TM) simulators and a HitTrax(TM) multi-sport cage that can be used for baseball, softball and soccer. "We are pleased to announce that the first DICK'S House of Sport in the greater Nashville area will be located at CoolSprings Galleria," Stephen D. Lebovitz, chief executive officer of CBL Properties said in a release. "Together, with the July grand opening of CBL's first L.L.Bean and our recent land sale to Greystar to develop an upscale multi-family development, these additions are truly transformational for the property.
