A portfolio demonstrating the ability to make complex systems understandable and ownership from customer problem through shipped product.
Expertise in Figma and comfort writing frontend code, including HTML and CSS; React is preferred.
Strong interaction design, visual design, and product-copy craft informed by regular use of frontier AI tools.
Responsibilities
Design clear experiences across Slack and web for setup, integrations, agent behavior, and control.
Build a code-backed design system that engineers and coding agents use by default.
Work with engineers to ship and refine core flows, product copy, and visual details.
Talk directly with customers and turn friction into shipped improvements.
Set the product quality bar and help bring launches to life through demos and supporting visuals.
Own how companies set up, use, and control the agent, taking work from customer conversations through prototypes, implementation, and launch while shaping the product and design function as the company grows.

About the role
As our founding designer, you'll own how companies set up, use, and control their agent. You'll take work from customer conversations through prototypes, implementation, and launch, shaping both the product and the design function as we grow.
This role is in person at our Presidio office in San Francisco, five days a week. We're open to relocation for the right candidate.

5+ years of product design experience, ideally in AI, developer tools, infrastructure, or enterprise software.
A portfolio showing complex systems made understandable and ownership from customer problem to shipped product.
Expertise in Figma and comfort writing frontend code, including HTML, CSS, and ideally React.
Strong interaction, visual, and product-copy craft, informed by regular use of frontier AI tools.

San Francisco base salary is $180,000-$230,000, based on role-related skills and experience. Total compensation also includes equity and benefits.
