Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • Entry-level client service experience, preferably in a financial institution.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and adhere to larger organizational goals, mission and vision.
  • A keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance in all documentation and processing steps.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Adaptability to changing priorities and situations, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to prioritize client needs and work diligently to offer effective and timely solutions.
  • Proficiency in a Windows environment using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and ability to learn and use new systems such as loan origination applications and other related technology products.
Responsibilities
  • Provide frontline customer service to clients by identifying needs and resolving requests via phone, online, and in person.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain relationships with internal and external clients and third parties, acting as a liaison between groups.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other business units and teams to meet internal and external client needs.
  • Educate team members, clients, and third parties on basic policies, processes, transactional delivery, and servicing.
  • Take appropriate steps to help identify and prevent fraud.
  • Assist the Sales Team in determining appropriate client products and delivery tools, and promote organizational products and services.
  • Serve as a backup to the Contact Center when needed.
  • Service PCA loan renewals, ensuring accuracy in all transactions.
  • Coordinate and track the compilation of documents needed for servicing transactions, and scan and index documents into systems.
  • Coordinate, review, and determine documents needed to perfect Compeer’s required lien position on servicing transactions.
  • Ensure loan transactions are completed within policy and compliance guidelines.
  • Interpret internal credit summaries and loan documents to perform servicing tasks and escalate issues to the appropriate department when further action is needed.
  • Initiate loan renewals and servicing updates with loan accounting, track and monitor corrections, and ensure system accuracy.
  • Review and complete maintenance in response to daily and monthly client reports to promote data integrity.
  • Prepare and deliver legal documents to clients in a timely manner to meet regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Process receipts, disbursements, and maintenance to client accounts, including initiating electronic payments and reconciling payments and disbursements.
  • Research client transactions, resolve issues, and assist with follow-up on delinquent accounts.
  • Keep current on related processes, procedures, and organizational updates.
  • Provide office coverage during normal business hours to meet client needs at the location.
  • Coordinate team member and client events and manage related invoices and requests.
  • Serve as an Office Ambassador.
  • Manage day-to-day administrative office duties, including processing incoming and outgoing mail, coordinating team member equipment checkout, and ordering and storing location supplies.
  • Act as the point of contact for building maintenance and cleaning issues.

So should insurers and agricultural lenders offer farmers that look after their soil a ‘good soil discount’?. While it’s generally understood that cover cropping, reduced tillage, and crop rotations benefit soil, these practices are by no means ubiquitous, not least because there are high upfront costs, the benefits don’t come overnight, and there are no immediate financial incentives, says soil health nonprofit Land Core.
