Requirements
  • 6+ years of prior project management experience using both Agile and Waterfall techniques in IT related projects to include operations, infrastructure, and application development projects
  • A minimum of seven (7) years’ experience managing large, complex, and highly visible projects
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field PLUS understanding of Agile and two (2) years of working on projects delivered utilizing Agile
  • Demonstrated ability to work directly with diverse business and technical team members in a strong team-oriented environment
  • Experience delivering large scale and fixed deadline projects
  • Experience documenting, presenting, and communicating project status and managing external messaging regarding project status to an external authorizing environment
  • Experience in managing major information technology projects
  • Experience managing multi-work stream projects where the PM partnered with the different program managers
  • Experience scaling agile and/or lean processes to large solutions and/or organizations
  • Experience using ADKAR change management model for project change management
  • Experience using Visual Studio Team Services (VSTS)
  • Experience with projects which include scope such as standing up or implementing new business, programs, or start-ups
  • Experience working in a government environment or a heavily regulated and monitored private environment
  • Experience working on projects that use multiple vendors or delivery teams for project delivery
  • US Citizenship Required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, & Adobe)
  • All ProSidian staff must be determined eligible for a “Facility Access Authorization”
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the project’s Communication Manager to enhance communication efforts
  • Conduct Agile Project Management and Organizational Change Management workshops
  • Develop, manage, and update Project Plan and other project documents (e.g., Communication Plan, Risk Plan, Stakeholder Register, Resource Plan)
  • Develop, manage, and update the execution of the Project Schedule to ensure project scope and applicable milestones are met
  • Establish a response and track the response to project recommendations (e.g., Quality Assurance vendor recommendations)
  • Facilitate change order process
  • Identifies, tracks, and manages project issues; including coordination for issue resolution
  • Manage scope, schedule, budget and resources for the completion of various IT related projects.
  • Oversees development of all deliverables, status reports and other work products
  • Plan and oversee all project work and develop/manage any potential organizational change management strategies or processes that might be needed
  • Provide management oversight of project budget to provide project status
  • Provides project management and technical expertise on large-scale IT projects
  • Review project and related operational processes and provide input for improvement by implementing relevant lean or agile strategies
