Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related technical field is required.
  • At least 8 years of relevant utility project management experience is required.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting electric distribution programs is required.
  • PMP certification is required, or the candidate must commit to obtaining it within 3 months of employment.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional coordination skills are required.
  • The candidate must reside within the DC, Maryland, or Northern Virginia footprint.
  • The candidate must be willing to support frequent job-site visits and on-site work.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and review cost estimates for utility capital projects.
  • Support estimate validation and benchmarking.
  • Coordinate with engineering and construction teams.
  • Track estimate accuracy and support cost forecasting.
  • Assist with change-order and cost-impact analysis.
  • Support program reporting and cost controls.
  • Participate in site visits as required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Exelon-family utilities, including Pepco, ACE, DPL, PECO, BGE, or ComEd.
  • Experience with Northeast or Mid-Atlantic utilities if the candidate lacks Exelon-family utility experience.
