Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • The ability to learn, carry out, and become certified in CPI physical interventions and de-escalation techniques is required.
  • The ability to learn, carry out, and become certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and first aid is required.
  • Driving is required.
Responsibilities
  • Engage with and supervise nine youth in a structured, home-like setting while maintaining a steady and reliable presence.
  • Provide firm, supportive guidance that builds confidence and encourages positive growth.
  • Plan and lead activities such as hiking, field outings, and recreational challenges that help youth develop practical life skills.
  • Coach youth toward their service goals, including homework support, coping strategies, and consistent behavior management.
  • Serve as a positive role model who reinforces accountability and supports overall well-being.
Desired Qualifications
  • One year of experience working with adolescents is preferred but not required.
  • Residential experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with systems such as the Department of Mental Health and the Department of Children and Families is preferred.
  • Additional languages are desirable but not required.
