About the job

Requirements
  • An associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Comfort with Apple and iOS devices and basic troubleshooting across mobile hardware, Wi-Fi and hotspots, printers, and everyday business software.
  • Experience maintaining social media accounts or content calendars, coordinating photos and short-form video, and writing or editing clear, professional posts.
  • Ability to manage two distinct workstreams, maintain accurate records and schedules, prioritize time-sensitive requests, and follow issues and content approvals through completion.
  • Ability to explain technology in plain language, represent the company professionally, protect confidential information, and recognize when an issue or post requires escalation or approval.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation for occasional local job-site travel; candidates must be comfortable entering active construction environments and complying with required safety practices.
  • Availability to work on site from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
  • Early-career candidates with strong practical skills are welcome.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory and assignment records for company iPads, iPhones, hotspots, and related accessories, including devices issued, returned, repaired, replaced, or retired.
  • Prepare devices for new and existing employees; assist with Apple Business Manager enrollment, software and app updates, Microsoft Authenticator and multi-factor authentication setup, and repair or replacement logistics.
  • Troubleshoot common device, connectivity, hotspot, printer, phone, and field-application issues for field and office employees, in person or remotely, and document recurring problems.
  • Learn the outside IT provider's systems and processes, gather information for efficient escalation, coordinate access and on-site support, and follow issues through resolution.
  • As experience grows, take ownership of selected routine tasks currently performed by the outside IT provider when efficient, appropriately documented, and approved by management.
  • Be available early in the workday to address device issues before they disrupt crews, with occasional travel to local job sites for hands-on assistance.
  • Create and maintain a forward-looking schedule for company posts, recruiting content, project highlights, employee recognition, safety milestones, community involvement, and other approved topics.
  • Coordinate with field leaders, project managers, Human Resources, and management to identify stories and obtain timely photos, videos, project details, employee information, and required approvals.
  • Visit jobsites and company events as needed to take professional photos and short videos; operate the company's drone for approved aerial content after appropriate training and in compliance with company policies, site requirements, and applicable regulations.
  • Provide briefs and source materials to outsourced creative resources, review drafts for accuracy and brand fit, route content for approval, and ensure approved posts are published on schedule.
  • Coordinate regular posting and basic community management across approved platforms, keep profiles and recurring information current, and respond to or route comments and messages appropriately.
  • Work with Human Resources to promote open positions, employee experiences, company culture, and career paths; monitor engagement and applicant traffic; and help strengthen the path from social content to the application process.
  • Maintain simple monthly reporting on posting activity, reach, engagement, recruiting traffic, and content performance, and use results to improve future content.
Desired Qualifications
  • Apple Business Manager experience.
  • Experience with LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or recruiting campaigns.
  • Photography or basic video editing, Canva or similar design tools, social media analytics, scripting, workflow automation, or AI-assisted productivity tools.
