- Must have completed a clinical competency, be in training, and be in good standing with the Radiology Program at an affiliate school of Radiology, such as Gadsden State Community College or Wallace State Community College.
- Students should have completed at least one semester of clinical rotation in this department or be willing to complete an in-service with one of the registered technologists before beginning a weekend shift.
- Should be certified in cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
- Maintain the uniform operation of the department by performing a broad range of duties.
- Receive and process necessary paperwork and maintain ongoing records.
- Perform examinations according to policy while assuring patient safety, comfort, and protection.
- Assist the radiologist and attending physician.
- Communicate effectively and appropriately and work efficiently and productively.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by demonstrating proper use and care of equipment.
- Demonstrate a caring attitude toward patients, visitors, and employees.
