Requirements
  • 10+ years in consultative B2B sales, consulting, or business development, inclusive of 5+ years in alliance and channel sales
  • History of working cross-functionally and partnering with customer success/services, product management, sales, and marketing
  • History of closing sophisticated deals with long sales cycles
  • Demonstrated ability to look at the business as an owner and drive optimization in all business units
  • Exhibit intellectual curiosity and a desire to learn
  • Accomplished track record of influencing senior leaders internally and externally, including at the C level
  • Experience building the strategic alliance function inside rapidly growing startups
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement alliance strategies consistent with ActionIQ's sales strategy and performance objectives including:
  • Expansion, cultivation, and enhancement of partner ecosystem
  • Nurture partner-leveraged pipeline:
  • Educate partners on appropriate ActionIQ value propositions for their business, preparing them to identify and position potential ActionIQ projects
  • Design and implement new business development initiatives, including solutions development, joint value propositions, sales tools, special sales incentives, joint service offerings, and more
  • Design and attain funding from partners for joint marketing campaigns
  • Pilot partner-influenced sales:
  • Implement programmatic approaches to building field-level relationships
  • Secure partner advocacy for ActionIQ on deals (transactions, projects) such that the probability of a successful sale is improved, impediments to an ActionIQ sale are removed, deal size is increased, and ActionIQ's overall cost of sales is reduced
  • Promote partner-driven client success:
  • Design, promote, and execute partner sales and technical training programs
  • Promote collaboration of projects with ActionIQ Product Marketing & Engineering organizations as appropriate
  • Recruit and manage new industry/technology-specific partnerships that will accelerate growth of ActionIQ
  • Carry out and follow through on other partner-related project specific tasks as needed
  • Develop tactics that support the sales strategy, articulating a clear definition for success and creating goals that align with ActionIQ's corporate business objectives
  • Equip the team with the sales processes and skills needed to exceed business and personal goals
  • Coach team to deliver impactful return on investments that focus on value creation for our partners and their end clients
  • Demonstrate our sales framework, maintaining a partner team pipeline centered around bringing value to our prospects with ActionIQ partners
  • Maintain a data-minded culture that measure results and accurately forecasts partner impact
  • Develop partner ecosystem interest to help guide marketing, demand generation, GTM, and product development
Desired Qualifications
  • Track record of creating and building highly strategic, effective, and deep relationships with Cloud Infrastructure Providers (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks), Global Systems Integrators, Martech Consultancies (Merkle), ISV technologies, Data & Identity firms (Neustar, Acxiom), Digital Agencies, is a plus
  • Direct experience with AWS, Snowflake or Databrick is a plus
