Requirements
  • 8+ years quota-carrying field experience in a fast-paced and competitive market with a focus on technology
  • A minimum of 5 years of leading individual contributor sales people to success in high growth, complex environments
  • Exhibit ability to coach, mentor and develop sales talent
  • A track record of accurately forecasting sales results
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets
  • The ability to work in a fast-growing and dynamic environment
  • Reciprocal spirit and communication skills
  • Previous Sales Methodology training (e.g., MEDICC, SPIN, CoM, Challenger Sales)
Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a team of up to 8 Account Executives
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets
  • Formulate and execute a regional business plan to exceed plan and drive customer success
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • Evangelize and promote the adoption of PagerDuty’s validated sales methodology
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success teams
  • Support and coach reps daily in account development, penetration, success, qualification, discovery, deal management and closing activities
  • Lead a disciplined and efficient operating motion
  • Deliver timely and accurate pipeline information and forecast
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, pipeline activity, and market trends
