What believers are saying

  • FN shares company results with employees: its published benefits include profit sharing alongside retirement-plan matching.
  • FN brings care onsite: its benefits page lists a health center plus mobile dental and mammography services.
  • FN's full-time Columbia Machine Operator I accepts a high-school diploma or equivalent without prior experience.

What critics are saying

  • Federal controls shape FN's distribution: its compliance administrator handles licensed firearms transfers and serialized inventory audits.
  • FN's Columbia weekend operator role is full-time, with noise, dangerous chemicals, machinery and unassisted lifting up to 25 pounds.
  • FN's Columbia maintenance opening limits schedule flexibility: the full-time technician position is assigned to second shift.

What makes FN America unique

  • FN's training reaches beyond its catalog: certification courses cover military M16/M4 rifles alongside FN products.
  • FN's military manufacturing roots run deep: Columbia opened in 1981 to produce M240s for the U.S. Army.
  • FN built a proprietary ammunition ecosystem: its Five-seveN pistol and P90 were designed around its 5.7x28mm cartridge.
