Responsibilities

Cost management:

1. Collect & analyze all cost sheets from proto through bulk
2. Assist in negotiating costing
3. Enter all cost details into the system

Product Development/Materials:

1. Create BOMs for new seasonal products
2. Launch and track development samples with factories
3. Set up all styles and colors in ERP system
4. Track & follow up on material bulk approvals
5. Manage material liability

Production:

1. Work with merchandising, sales, and planning to review & confirm final buys
2. Issue all bulk Pos
3. Maintain & update bulk POs with xf, delivery dates, and costing
4. Update seasonal factory WIP with final buys & BOMs
5. Maintain seasonal master WIP through production
6. Communicate daily with vendors to troubleshoot any production issues that arise
7. Monitor communication between finished goods vendors & raw material vendors
8. Monitor & track sample timing for CFM/PPS, wear test, test samples, TOPs, bulk shipments
9. Comment on/approve all samples that come in to ensure they meet spec & quality standards
10. Monitor quality standards though production process
11. Troubleshoot potential issues & partner cross functionally to find a solution
12. Communicate delays & production shortages/overages cross functionally
13. Help manage the 3rd party QC process

Administrative:

Work with customer service when there are damages & order replacement parts

Requirements: (skills, qualifications, education, etc)

• Highly organized and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to effectively manage competing priorities with tight deadlines
• Excellent communication and follow up skills.
• Driven and solution-oriented with new and challenging projects
• Comfortable with MS Excel (vlookup, pivots a plus)
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of relevant experience
