Requirements
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • The ability to stand for 8 hours at a time is required.
  • The ability to lift 20 pounds occasionally is required.
  • Written and verbal communication and organizational skills are required.
  • The role requires an outgoing, friendly, positive, and upbeat demeanor.
  • The role requires working effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
  • Greet and check in guests.
  • Assist with reservations, pre-registrations, and room blocking.
  • Assist large groups upon arrival.
  • Provide guests with information about nearby dining, shopping, and other attractions.
  • Handle and resolve initial guest issues.
  • Process payments according to procedure.
  • Upsell additional facilities and services.
  • Complete all check-out tasks.
  • Balance cash, checks, and credit cards at the end of each shift.
  • Answer guest questions and address their needs and requests.
  • Communicate internally with other departments to resolve guest concerns or requests.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • Credit card handling experience is preferred.
  • Hotel front desk experience is preferred.
  • Experience with hotel reservations software is preferred.
