What believers are saying

  • ABB says Sensorfact serves 1,900-plus European customers and employs 250-plus people.
  • Sensorfact's plug-and-play hardware removes downtime, accelerating factory deployments.
  • ABB's 2026 channels sell Sensorfact beside circuit breakers, gateways, and cloud analytics.

What critics are saying

  • ABB can bundle Sensorfact with its hardware, squeezing margins and third-party sales.
  • Sensorfact now depends on ABB's roadmap; June 2026 replacements prove control shifted upstream.
  • If ABB prioritizes native breaker analytics, Sensorfact becomes a feature, not a company.

What makes Sensorfact unique

  • ABB's August 2026 product pages embed Sensorfact across low-voltage and U.S. electrification offerings.
  • Sensorfact measures machine-level electricity every 60 seconds and pairs software with energy consultants.
  • ABB discontinued Ability Energy Manager in June 2026, replacing it with Sensorfact.
