Requirements
  • For UX Researcher, a master's degree or bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in UX research or data analytics is required.
  • For Animation and Virtual Production, a master's degree or bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in animation, visual effects, or digital arts is required.
  • For Design Historian, a master's degree or higher in Design History, Visual Communication, or a related field and prior teaching or research experience are required.
  • For Motion Graphics, a bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in motion graphics is required.
  • For Maya Hard Surface Modeling, a bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in 3D production is required.
  • For Product Growth Design, a bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in product design or user experience is required.
  • For Visual Identity, a bachelor's degree plus five years of experience in branding or art direction is required.
  • UX Researcher candidates must be familiar with usability testing tools.
  • Animation and Virtual Production candidates must be proficient in Maya, Unreal Engine, and motion capture, and must provide a strong portfolio.
  • Motion Graphics candidates must be proficient in After Effects and the Adobe Suite.
  • Maya Hard Surface Modeling candidates must be proficient in Maya, clean topology, and real-time asset optimization.
  • Product Growth Design candidates must have deep knowledge of growth models, tracking tools, and experimentation strategy.
  • Visual Identity candidates must have experience with scalable identity systems, enterprise branding, and artificial intelligence or machine-learning-based tools.
Responsibilities
  • Teach graduate-level UX Research and Data Analysis courses.
  • Teach Bachelor of Fine Arts courses in compositing, visual effects, two-dimensional and three-dimensional animation, portfolio development, and emerging technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality.
  • Teach Bachelor of Fine Arts courses in Design History I and II, connecting historical context to digital, interactive, and artificial-intelligence-enhanced design practice.
  • Teach Bachelor of Fine Arts courses in motion design, animation, and storytelling using After Effects, guiding students from storyboarding through final delivery.
  • Teach Bachelor of Fine Arts courses focused on Maya three-dimensional modeling workflows, UV mapping and texturing, and professional pipeline practices, with a specialty in hard-surface modeling.
  • Teach graduate-level courses in experimentation, in-app tracking metrics, user-experience strategy, and data-informed product-growth frameworks.
  • Teach Bachelor of Fine Arts courses focused on building scalable brand systems using modern tools and artificial-intelligence-assisted workflows for enterprise-level clients related to graphic design and visual identity.
  • Collaborate with department chairs and coordinators on course progress.
  • Support a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
  • Adhere to university policies and academic-integrity guidelines.
