Requirements
  • 8+ years of experience as an RFP Manager or writing, editing, and coordinating responses to RFPs/RFIs
  • Experience directly supporting a sales organization
  • Understanding and successfully using Shipley’s Proposal Management methodology or APMP Best Practices on Proposal Management
  • Strong competency in executing quality work promptly with attention to detail
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and capacity for collaborative teamwork
  • Ability to lead meetings and presentations
  • Ability to lead complex projects and RFX requests
  • Understanding of industry best practices in Proposal Management
  • Experience working within a technical or engineering organization
  • Ability to work well under pressure and respond to fast-changing priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent team player with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience leveraging CRM tools (i.e., Salesforce)
  • Strong project management skills

Responsibilities
  • Lead and deliver competitive, high-quality proposals to Geotab prospects and customers
  • Manage and deliver on “must win” opportunities for the organization
  • Experienced in developing proposals for customers, including government contracts
  • Consult, co-ordinate and project manage Geotab resources for large-scale partner opportunities
  • Participate in the RFP life cycle and create high-quality proposals showcasing Geotab’s value proposition
  • Ensure RFP requirements are reviewed and approved appropriately and deadlines are met
  • Interact with Geotab sales, partners, and technical teams to ensure accuracy in responses
  • Assist with hiring, training, and mentoring new team members
  • Oversee team day-to-day operations and provide training and support to employees
  • Drive efficiency in the RFP process and provide strategic guidance and support on RFPs
  • Lead strategic projects for the team and maintain RFP response database
  • Transform business and technical product information into concise written material
  • Support Geotab global strategic initiatives
