As Ski Valet Supervisor, your leadership, expertise in ski equipment, and deep knowledge of the Lodge and surrounding terrain will ensure every guest feels genuinely welcomed and well cared for. What You Will Be Doing:
- Deliver consistently professional, friendly, and engaging service to Owners and Guests.
- Lead and supervise the Ski Valet team, ensuring service standards are met and exceeded.
- Address Owner and Guest concerns promptly and professionally, documenting and communicating with relevant departments.
- Participate in and contribute to regularly scheduled departmental meetings.
- Assign and manage daily tasks based on operational needs and guest flow.
- Balance team leadership with administrative responsibilities and hands-on support.
- Oversee the cleanliness, organization, and readiness of all ski and snowboard equipment.
- Maintain a well-organized ski storage room, ensuring equipment is labeled and stored by name and unit number.
- Ensure all equipment is prepared and ready before the start of each ski day.
Qualifications
Your Experience and Skills Include:
- Previous guest service experience is an asset.
- Excellent communication skills and a professional, polished presentation.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- A genuine passion for snow sports and winter activities.
- Highly responsible, reliable, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
- Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong team player with the ability to work cohesively with colleagues.
- Attentive to Owner and Guest needs, maintaining a calm and courteous demeanor at all times.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and powder days as required.
- Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 50 lbs; occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs.
- Constant standing and walking; frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, and twisting.
- Ability to stay focused and engaged during a 10-hour shift.
- Ability to work outside in winter weather conditions
