  • Certified Welding Inspector certification from AWS
  • Certified Welding Education certification from AWS
Responsibilities
  • Identifies and prioritizes specialized technical and/or higher level management training needs for profit and/or service centers and recommends education and/or training solutions.
  • Establishes training program requirements and obtain support for these programs from profit and service center management.
  • Selects and purchases materials, services and evaluation methods to assure training needs are satisfied.
  • Serves as an instructor or facilitator of training programs in management development, workplace literacy or technical training areas that require extensive background experience and expertise in the subject matter.
  • Coordinates staff, vendor, consultant and community training services.
  • Trains manufacturing and office instructors and coordinates related training as needed.
  • Supervises the day to day activities of other training staff, trainees, or apprentices.
