As a Principal Product Manager at Zocdoc, you will play a critical role in revolutionizing healthcare by shaping breakthrough, company-level product strategies that meet the needs of both providers and patients. You will manage large, complex product areas and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Data, and Operations, to bring innovative features to market. Your leadership and strategic vision will directly contribute to advancing Zocdoc’s mission, delivering value to our users, and improving the overall healthcare experience.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Refining and communicating a broad vision that addresses emerging challenges and opportunities, discovering new ways for the product to create value.
• Uncovering new qualitative and quantitative insights about users through inventive research programs and data analyses to build the business case for strategic, company-wide changes.
• Defining and driving the roadmap, goals, and metrics for a large product area or suite of products.
• Creating best-in-class documents and presentations to advocate for and “sell” change at a company level across multiple teams.
• Diving deep into the tech stack to anticipate complexities and provide trusted partnerships to product teams within and beyond your scope.

You’ll be successful in this role if you have:

• 12+ years of experience in product management or other relevant fields, ideally with a mix of early- and late-stage product environments.
• Strong structured thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize competitor insights, customer insights, and technical tradeoffs to build roadmaps with bulletproof rationale.
• The ability to influence broader company strategy by developing a vision that proactively identifies and addresses top opportunity areas, incorporating emerging technologies and trends.
• Exceptional communication and storytelling abilities, enabling you to act as a trusted presence for company leadership and represent the company to external audiences.
• A high-judgment, inventive mindset, adept at making sense of complex, sometimes contradictory information to effectively make decisions (with a knack for being right).
• Extensive expertise in improving speed and processes, partnering with senior leaders to drive urgency and accountability for achieving OKRs.
• Proficiency in SQL, Amplitude, and Looker (preferred).
