  • Previous kitchen leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Kitchen Manager with the day-to-day operations of the kitchen.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, preparation, presentation, and consistency.
  • Follow and enforce all health, safety, and sanitation standards and procedures.
  • Assist with inventory counts, inventory organization, and inventory control.
  • Monitor product usage and help maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Assist with analyzing food costs and Cost of Goods Sold and identify opportunities to improve cost control.
  • Accurately place and manage food and supply orders.
  • Monitor deliveries to ensure accuracy, quality, and proper storage.
  • Assist with creating and managing kitchen staff schedules based on business needs.
  • Support proper prep planning and production levels to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Train, coach, and develop kitchen staff to ensure consistency and adherence to company standards.
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to team members.
  • Communicate with the Kitchen Manager and culinary team regarding daily operations, staffing, inventory, and other kitchen needs.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment.
  • Lead by example and promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
  • Step into a leadership role when the Kitchen Manager is unavailable.
