  • Drive team adoption of enterprise-authorized artificial-intelligence-assisted engineering practices, establish validation standards for secure coding, peer review, and automated testing, and promote reuse of effective patterns.
  • Apply software development life cycle toolchain knowledge, including enterprise-authorized artificial-intelligence-assisted development and automation capabilities, to improve automation outcomes.
  • Design and implement scalable software components using appropriate software design patterns, cloud-native practices, and platform engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, security, infrastructure, and application development teams to resolve technical dependencies and deliver production-ready capabilities.
  • Contribute to technical methods, standards, documentation, and implementation patterns within AI Foundation Services to improve consistency, reliability, and reuse across delivery teams.
  • Communicate technical progress, risks, dependencies, and implementation options to engineering managers, product partners, and senior technical stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience supporting artificial intelligence, machine learning, or generative artificial intelligence platform capabilities, including model hosting, inference services, model gateways, managed artificial intelligence services, or developer-facing artificial intelligence and machine learning infrastructure.
  • Experience with graphics processing unit-enabled platforms or artificial-intelligence workload optimization, including inference latency, throughput, batching, capacity planning, or cost and performance tuning.
  • Experience building reusable golden-path assets such as templates, reference implementations, software development kits, automated tests, onboarding guides, and deployment patterns.
  • Familiarity with model-serving patterns, rollout strategies, safety controls, authorization, rate limiting, policy enforcement, and evaluation hooks.

About the company

JPMorgan Chase runs the largest bank in the United States, which serves households and small businesses as Chase and large companies, governments, and investors as J.P. Morgan. During the 2008 financial crisis it bought the failing investment bank Bear Stearns and lender Washington Mutual, and in 2023 it took over First Republic Bank after regulators seized it. Chase takes deposits and earns interest on credit cards, mortgages, and car loans, while the investment side earns fees for advising on mergers, raising money for companies, trading stocks and bonds, and managing wealth. Formed in a 2000 merger, JPMorgan Chase traces its roots to 1799 and is based in New York City.
