Requirements
At least 5 years of experience with building management and/or maintenance.
Must be hands-on.
A valid unrestricted driver's license is required.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and 50 pounds.
Ability to communicate with coworkers, managers, customers, and vendors by talking and hearing.
Manual dexterity to operate machinery.
Ability to bend, twist, turn, kneel, and squat; stand or walk on various terrains; handle objects, tools, or controls; and reach with hands and arms.
Close and distance vision and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.
Responsibilities
Perform carpentry, electrical, painting, plumbing, heating and cooling, ventilation, roofing, and lockset re-keying duties.
Inspect buildings and equipment for needed repairs and maintenance.
Respond to emergency maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues to determine their cause and solution.
Repair and install water supply and drain lines, valves, and natural gas lines.
Perform preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC systems and equipment, including changing filters.
Perform general maintenance duties such as snow removal and salting sidewalks.
Perform maintenance duties in commercial buildings and properties, including office and warehouse spaces.
Desired Qualifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is a plus.
Commercial electrical experience is preferred.
Southshore Companies has an immediate need for a Maintenance Technician with strong electrical experience, plumbing and general facility maintenance experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Pay:
$21.50- $25.00 + based on experience
