Position Summary:
The Network Engineer at Constellation Brands will focus on engineering and delivering our enterprise data network technologies, with an emphasis on strategic project delivery across our global network. This is a role local to the Napa Valley area and requires frequent local travel to wineries throughout the area, and occasionally outside it. This position will be responsible for ensuring we provide stable and efficient network services for our stakeholders that drives shareholder value, particularly in the wine business. The Network Engineer will work with the appropriate technology teams, business stakeholders, vendors/partners and leadership to ensure that our network services meet the company needs and the required performance metrics (SLAs). This includes gathering requirements for new implementations, architecting and optimizing key functional areas, particularly network infrastructure technologies and documenting solutions to hand off to our support providers. The position will require strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build relationships with key business partners, onsite engineering teams and vendors. We have an excellent reputation within the wine business and the ideal candidate will demonstrate the importance of maintaining that relationship.
Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Design and lead large-scale network service project implementations, working with industrial engineering teams, and other IT groups and external service providers
- Directs vendors in the successful completion of networking project deliverables
- Design, configure, install and maintain network infrastructure components (data/voice/video) including both user, industrial and retail/hospitality networks
- Provide escalation support for any network issues detected by our support providers
- Ensure that all project-based work within the Constellation Global Network is implemented with quality, on-time and has enterprise-class reliability
- Analyzes network functions and evaluates the services provided; develops plan of action and recommendations; identifies milestones and issues to be addressed and generates reports as required
- Evaluates, recommends, justifies and ensures the proper toolsets and procedures are implemented, maintained and utilized
- Ensures compliance with policies and regulations, and that all issues are addressed and resolved.
- Plans, develops, and designs network management and maintenance projects, including policies and procedures, operational improvements, and evaluates new technology integration
- Provide leadership across converged technology platforms. Ensure effective collaboration is taking place to provide high quality customer service
- Monitor and remain abreast of emerging technologies for possible introduction into the organization.
- Work within a team environment, manage systems, lead upgrades and coordinate installs
- Provides project warranty support from a ticketing system until project closure
- Must be able to participate in an on-call rotation

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar study
- Minimum of 3 years in Enterprise Network experience with a record of progressive career growth
- Technical experience and strong command of enterprise networking industry trends and ability to apply those for desired outcomes
- Proven ability to work business requirements into solutions that map to technology capabilities and integration with existing infrastructure
- Proven track record of implementing significant IT infrastructure projects on schedule and budget
- Strong network engineering experience with a variety of vendor solutions
- Experience with the following technologies:
- SD-WAN (Versa), Traffic Engineering and Management
- Network Segmentation – LAN, WAN, East/West
- Industrial Networking – Siemens, Stratix & Rockwell
- Wireless Networking Protocols, Technologies Design and Management
- Palo Alto Firewalls and Panorama
- Enterprise IP Routing (BGP and OSPF) and QoS
- Amazon Web Services, Azure
- Aviatrix
- Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE)

- In depth understanding of ITIL/ITSM principles in managing operational service delivery. Currently use ServiceNow
- Demonstrate ability and experience in working with vendors and service providers
- Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills, and advanced problem-solving orientation and decision-making skills. Proven ability to develop, present and justify positions to all levels within the company

The salary range for this role is:
$109,500.00 - $167,700.00
This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. At Constellation Brands, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
