Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end architecture of hardware safety and power management systems, including safe-state strategies, power sequencing across multiple cores and power management ICs, thermal throttling, and watchdog orchestration to meet ASIL-B/C safety goals.
  • Implement low-level drivers and firmware for safety-critical integrated circuits from datasheets and the TDA4 Functional Safety Manual on bare metal and FreeRTOS.
  • Lead the development of hardware-software safety diagnostic frameworks by integrating the Texas Instruments Safety Diagnostic Library, including LBIST, PBIST, ECC, DCC, and ESM, into firmware.
  • Perform deep-dive code reviews across hardware safety modules and ensure consistent architectural vision, error handling, and testable design patterns.
