Requirements
  • Current, valid Washington State Certified Nursing Assistant certification (NA-C).
  • High school graduation and six months of experience involving direct patient care or customer service in a health care setting, or equivalent education or experience.
  • A valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider CPR card by the start date.
Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect care to patients and their families under the general supervision of the Registered Nurse.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, showering, dressing, getting in and out of bed or a chair, walking, using the toilet, and eating.
  • Maintain a safe environment of care.
  • Transport patients.
  • Prepare patients for surgery.
  • Perform non-invasive laboratory procedures.
  • Transport equipment and supplies.
  • Assist with treatments.
  • Perform clerical tasks.
  • Take vital signs.
