Requirements
  • Electrical apprentice experience is preferred.
  • Willingness to learn the commercial overhead door trade is required.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge is required.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are required.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • The candidate must be comfortable working at heights and in commercial environments.
  • The candidate must be available for 24/7 emergency on-call coverage every other week.
  • The candidate must be willing to travel for approximately one week at a time, including out-of-state project work.
Responsibilities
  • Assist with electrical installations, wiring, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • Learn to install, service, maintain, and repair commercial overhead doors.
  • Work with door operators, motors, controls, sensors, and related electrical components.
  • Respond to commercial service calls and emergency repairs.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Assist with installation and project work on commercial job sites.
  • Perform routine maintenance and safety inspections.
  • Work safely from ladders and lifts and in various job-site conditions.
  • Provide professional and courteous service to customers.
  • Follow company safety procedures and applicable electrical requirements.
  • Participate in a 24/7 emergency on-call rotation every other week, responding to emergency commercial service calls during nights, weekends, and holidays when required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous electrical apprentice experience.
