Requirements
  • An associate degree from an accredited COTA program is required.
  • A Washington state Occupational Therapy Assistant license is required.
  • Current National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy certification is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant services in accordance with applicable guidelines, regulations, and Olympic Medical Center standards.
  • Implement the established plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Occupational Therapist by providing therapeutic interventions, obtaining data related to treatment provided, and reporting changes in patient status.
  • Confer with the supervising occupational therapist and make recommendations for alteration of the care plan.
Desired Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a multidisciplinary setting or hospital is preferred.
  • One year of outpatient, hand, and splinting experience is preferred.
