- At least 3 years of experience in construction or commercial maintenance.
- Proficiency in carpentry, including partition framing with metal or wood studs, basic cabinetry and countertop installation, and door and window installation.
- Proficiency in interior and exterior painting.
- Proficiency in flooring installation, including VCT, LVT, tile, carpet squares, and cove base.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, including replacement or installation of sinks, faucets, toilets, and basic drainage and water lines.
- Basic knowledge of electrical work, including replacement or installation of light fixtures, switches, and outlets, basic data connections, and diagnosing minor electrical problems.
- Knowledge of refrigeration within HVAC.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to follow Occupational Safety and Health Administration requirements.
- Ability to work overtime and/or on-call as workload and emergency issues dictate.
- Willingness and ability to travel and work overnight shifts throughout the United States when needed.
- Ability to supply basic construction hand tools.
- OSHA 10-hour certification or completion of OSHA 10-hour certification within 3 months of employment.
- Perform commercial renovations and buildouts.
- Make repairs and provide detailed documentation, including measurements, pictures, repair recommendations, and quotes.
- Communicate with customers to build relationships.
- Licensed plumbers are encouraged to apply.
- Licensed electricians are encouraged to apply.
