About the job
- Proven experience as an Account Manager in the healthcare industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of the home healthcare industry, including its regulations, policies, and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical records systems.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with the ability to travel to clients' homes as needed.
- Background screening through Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required.
- Build clinical referral sources in Hillsborough and surrounding markets.
- Manage account relationships and ensure patient needs are met.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of caregivers, nurses, and therapists to ensure clients receive optimal care.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition from post-acute facilities.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to grow the client base and increase revenue.
- Participate in community outreach and marketing initiatives to raise awareness of services and attract new clients.
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to home healthcare services.
- Build and maintain referral source relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing centers, and surrounding healthcare markets.
- Receive patient admissions to home health care and private pay services, ensuring patients receive high-quality care.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- A minimum of 3 years of home health care experience is preferred.
