About the company

RAM Partners manages apartment communities across the United States for outside owners such as large financial institutions, pension funds, insurance companies and private investors. Its portfolio ranges from luxury high-rises to older properties that need a turnaround, along with neighborhoods of single-family homes built to rent. At each community, on-site teams handle leasing, resident service and maintenance, while corporate staff supply marketing, accounting, budgeting and rent pricing. Owners hire the firm to run their properties day to day, and it also oversees renovations and capital projects for them. RAM Partners was founded in 1989 and is headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • New communities keep arriving: RAM added four, in Montana, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida, in August and September 2026.
  • Pay goes beyond base wages: RAM's leasing and maintenance postings add bonuses under each property's commission structure.
  • Training runs year-round: RAM says it offers more than 400 live and live-virtual courses a year for associates.

What critics are saying

  • Deals add churn: RAM handles over 100 client purchases and sales yearly, and ownership changes reshape manager portfolios.
  • Weekends are part of the job: RAM's leasing consultant and property manager postings require flexible schedules including weekends.
  • Field oversight means travel: RAM's area vice president and systems trainer openings require 60% and up to 50% travel.

What makes RAM Partners, LLC unique

  • RAM began inside a public landlord: Post Properties owned it until its managers bought the company in 2002.
  • New buildings are a specialty: RAM reports filling more than 25,000 newly built apartments over the past decade.
  • Government housing programs vet it: RAM reports approval as a manager from HUD, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
