About the job
- At least 5 years of experience on construction projects involving more than 50 dwellings.
- A degree-level qualification in architecture, quantity surveying/building engineering (aparejador), civil engineering, technical public works engineering, or a similar field.
- User-level proficiency in Excel.
- Knowledge of project management programs such as BIM, AutoCAD, or Presto.
- Basic English.
- Knowledge of timber construction or prefabrication.
- Plan, organize, and direct construction projects during the execution phase.
- Prevent, control, and resolve situations in accordance with the company's methodology, execution timelines, specifications, and established budgets.
- Ensure efficient project execution by coordinating activities, resources, teams, and information.
- Ensure the quality of completed work and compliance with all necessary safety requirements.
- Plan and set management timelines and construction phases, and monitor progress to ensure work follows the established schedule.
- Implement Lean Construction methodology during construction execution using the company's Last Planner System and Takt time planning tools, and contribute to their development.
- Coordinate all internal and external parties directly involved in on-site execution, and work with the project's Project Manager on necessary tasks through building completion and handover.
- Manage and supervise construction after-sales service.
- Participate in weekly project cost tracking, and assist with interim certifications and final settlement of completed work units.
