Requirements
- A bachelor's degree is preferred.
- At least two years of human resources experience is preferred.
- Experience with Department of Transportation compliance is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, including Excel and Word.
- Experience with Paylocity is preferred.
- Problem-solving, time management, team collaboration, and confidentiality skills.
- Arabic or Spanish language skills are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Maintain driver route receipts and other paperwork submitted by drivers.
- Serve as the point of contact with customers to schedule deliveries.
- Maintain and audit Driver Qualification files to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
- Coordinate and track background checks, motor vehicle records, pre-employment drug screenings, and other Department of Transportation-required documents.
- Process new-hire onboarding accurately and on time, including commercial driver's license verification and document collection.
- Act as the human resources contact for employee questions about policies, procedures, and workplace issues.
- Support internal audits and external inspections by preparing and organizing required documentation.
- Partner with the freight team to ensure all drivers meet qualification standards.
- Assist with updates to human resources records, policy documentation, and compliance tracking systems.
